Westbrook’s first downtown live/work residential community. Built in 2010, the three-unit condominium building at 917 Main Street was targeted at the city’s burgeoning artisan community. Each unit has a 200-square-foot retail/studio area on the street level, as well as a half-bath and one-car garage suitable for parking or storage. Second and third level living space totals 1,200 square feet. The second floor is an open concept living room, dining room and kitchen; two bedrooms and a full bath make up the third level. The units—most of which sold before the project reached its midway point—were targeted at first-time homebuyers and drew the interest of local artisans priced out of the Portland market.
